1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using EyeCare ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

EyeCare is a personal eye health management application that allows users to track contact lens wear sessions, manage lens inventory, store prescriptions and eye exam records, and receive replacement reminders.

The App is available as a mobile application (iOS and Android) and a web companion application. Features may vary slightly between platforms.

3. Medical Disclaimer

EyeCare is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.The App is a tool for personal record-keeping and reminders. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any eye disease or condition.

Always follow the advice of your eye care professional. Do not rely solely on app reminders for lens replacement schedules. Consult a licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist for any eye health concerns.

The replacement schedules and wear duration recommendations in the App are based on information you provide and your prescription data. They are informational only and should not replace professional medical advice.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may use email OTP authentication or Google OAuth to sign in.

Guest mode allows limited offline functionality without an account. Guest data is stored locally on your device and may be lost if you uninstall the App. We recommend creating an account for data persistence across devices.

5. User Data and Privacy

You retain all ownership rights to the data you enter into the App. We do not claim ownership over your eye health data, prescriptions, or documents.

Our data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described therein.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the App's operation
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to store illegal content or copyrighted material without permission

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EyeCare and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, eye health complications, or missed lens replacements.

8. Termination

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the App settings. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these terms or for extended inactivity.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
